Trend & Challenge
Careers are changing. More people are stepping away from traditional jobs to build something of their own—flexible, independent, and often based at home. Across industries, solo entrepreneurs are turning side projects into income streams, supported by the rise of online tools and decentralised work.
Lure making has the potential to evolve in the same way. But unlike other handmade crafts, fishing lures serve a specific function. To be useful—and sell—they need to be accurately categorised and easy to find. That’s where current marketplaces fall short. Independent creators still face hurdles when trying to get their products in front of the right anglers, and the community as a whole lacks a platform designed with its unique needs in mind.
Our Answer
We’ve built a focused platform that brings modern e-commerce simplicity to the lure-making community. In a few minutes, any luremaker can launch a storefront, list their designs, and tap into built-in payment processing and shipping tools.
By uniting all creators under one roof, we make discovery, creation, and purchase effortless for everyone.
Our Goal
We’re focused on growing a vibrant, supportive community where makers and anglers connect, learn, and innovate together.
Our aim is to continually expand our roster of talented creators, host collaborative events, and refine our platform so that every visit feels fresh, inspiring, and valuable for both buyers and builders.
Our Strategy
We recognise that not every creator wants to dive deep into technical lure design—such as sinking rates, buoyancy, or hydrodynamics. Many excel at painting or handcrafting. To support this, we provide STL files for 3D printing through our vendor program, allowing makers to print, customise, and sell their finished lures all on one platform.
By combining 3D printing with our marketplace, we aim to bring community designs to life and shift the traditional, centralised manufacturing model toward a more open, community-driven approach—one that’s more flexible, lightweight, and able to iterate quickly to meet the needs of makers and anglers alike.
